The Clintonville Woman's Club is a wonderful intimate and sun-filled space with another of the best dance floors in Columbus. On High Street between Henderson/Cooke + Broadway, immediately N of the Park of Roses, it's easy to get to, has a big private parking lot and easy access.
CWC offers a very nice light food menu and snacks for purchase.
Note for COHJS regulars: CWC is BYOB – BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGE! (no cash bar)

The Makoy Center in Hilliard has hosted countless COHJS shows for many years and is a familiar and great spot for us. It's been said that the Makoy has the largest and nicest dance floor in the area. I don't know how we'd prove that but we surely don't know any reason to dispute it! The Makoy offers light food (pizza, burgers, etc) and snacks for purchase, and has a full cash bar.

We could sure use your support to hire these musicians + the venue! Please consider joining or renewing RIGHT NOW ONLINE or at the door. Your membership support is VITAL to making COHJS events happen, and offering decent compensation to the musicians who learn + share this great music. Door admissions usually cover maybe 35-45% of the cost of a show. Most of the rest comes from memberships, + a bit more from The Columbus Foundation grant and Ohio Living's sponsorship.
For $20 a year you get $5 off the regular show admission and our newsletter - - but what you really get is doing your bit to keep hot jazz and dance live + local!
